A truly unique Edwardian town park beautifully restored in 2018
by National Lottery Heritage Fund and Newry, Mourne and Down District Council.

Warrenpoint Municipal Park opened in 1907. Located by the shore of Carlingford Lough, the Edwardian Park offers visitors a tranquil space to relax, play tennis or visit the play park.
The Park has played an important role in the town’s rich heritage, which is recognised with attaining Green Flag Heritage status. The award recognises heritage spaces that are managed to a high standard.
The Park is listed on the Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest NI.
